Mr. Bruno Gillier is Executive Chairman and President of both Global Bond Alliance – Australia (GBA-A) as well as Capital Merchant Limited (CML). Both companies have an international presence and provide performance, security and value to clients. The companies work with barristers in Luxembourg as well as a Queen’s Counsel (QC) in Sydney, Australia.
The principal activity of GBA-A is in the area of historic sovereign bonds and the principal activity of CML is in the area of various commodities, including gold and diamonds as well as historic sovereign bonds. In the case of Brazilian Letras do Tesouro Nacional (LTNs), GBA-A and CML have partnered with a Brazilian law firm with special authorization for transactions involving sovereign bonds of Brazil. Due to specific banking rules in Brazil, the law firm deals directly with the Brazilian Treasury, the Central Bank of Brazil, CBLC, various Brazilian banks and other Brazilian security houses, all of which help accomplish the objective of obtaining confirmation of each LTN, doing due diligence, and having official authorization to accomplish the transactions as contracted.
GBA-A and CML provide the expertise to transact verified LTNs in a safe manner, including working through the “red tape” associated with the various Brazilian government agencies and banks. The company is able to carry out the entire process by taking responsibility through agreements with the asset holders (sellers / owners) via Trustee Agreements and Power of Attorney Agreements. Information will not be shared between buyers and sellers thus protecting confidentiality. The company will handle each step of the transaction with privacy and expertise, and the company has many buyers / investors and sellers / owners in place to transact the verified LTNs. Experience gained from working with LTNs has been applied to other historical bonds as well.
Part of the profits realized from these transactions is used to fund global humanitarian and commercial projects, which are administered by GBA-A’s and CML’s sister organization, GILLIER HUMANITY. Through the HELP program (Health and Economic Leverage Project), these companies will make a positive impact on the lives and livelihood of individuals and families by providing services, education and economic opportunities to sustain the well-being and growth of selected areas around the world.
Finally, please note that the key to every successful commodity transaction is a buyer who is willing to work with the seller’s procedures. Buyers who are flexible will be able to purchase the commodities they desire; buyers who insist on their own procedures will not be able to close a transaction.

He works directly with buyers, sellers, investors and bankers concerning various types of commodities, ranging from Au bullion and diamonds to sovereign debt and MTNs. He is also a Director as well as Executive Chairman and CEO of Gillier Group, Gillier Humanity and Celestial Humanity; the last two help fund Humanitarian Projects around the world. The companies have divisions in the following areas: Commodities, Development, Construction, Luxury Hotels, Hospitality, Marketing, Travel, and Humanitarian Projects. The Gillier Family has been in the global Hospitality and Travel industry for three generations.
Bruno has close personal ties to the areas he supports; he was born in Tahiti, lived in Fiji, and has traveled extensively in Thailand and the Philippines. The Gilliers have opened luxury hotels in Singapore (Le Meridien), Tahiti, New Caledonia, Luxembourg and Nice. Bruno’s stellar reputation in the International Hospitality industry and the number of high level contacts he has made throughout the years facilitated his branching out into commodities. Bruno created his commodities division in response to his international clients’ requests for a reliable source of investment quantities of gold bullion, diamonds and Brazilian LTNs. He uses the profits from these transactions to help fund his humanitarian projects.
Barry Toomey QC – Legal Counsel and Director (Sydney, Australia)
Barry Toomey QC has been practicing law in Sydney, Australia for over 46 years; he was granted the prestigious honor of Queen’s Counsel (QC) 33 years ago. Barry is Head of Chambers of the renowned Jack Shand Chambers in Sydney, which is comprised of 3 Queen’s Counsel, 5 Senior Counsel and 25 Junior Barristers. His areas of practice include international law, commercial law, appellate law, common law, Commissions of Inquiry, criminal law and police law. As a top barrister, his cases have helped establish the law in Australia. He has been the counsel assisting a number of Royal Commissions and Special Commissions of Inquiry and has been lead counsel for the New South Wales Independent Commission Against Corruption in several of its major investigations. Barry has served 12 terms as a member of the New South Wales Bar Council, the governing body of Barristers in the State, and has been chairman of several of the council’s Ethics Committees. He was majority owner of a leading Sydney hotel for 26 years.
Carolee Langhorne – Director of Operations (Cincinnati, USA)
Carolee Langhorne is Managing Director of Global Commodity Source LLC as well as Director of Global Operations for the Diplomatic Group family of companies. Her strong business background includes a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Miami University (Oxford Ohio USA) as well as earning a Six Sigma (Corporate Quality and Cost Reduction Initiative) Black Belt classification from General Electric. She brings extensive experience in Operations, Project Management, Marketing and Communications from over 25 years of experience with the world headquarters of General Electric Aviation, Procter & Gamble and Cincinnati Bell Telephone / AT&T. Carolee worked directly for three mandates for gold sellers and has been Bruno’s North American liaison since 2008.
Betty Patalis Gillier- Director of Interior Design – (Sydney, Australia)
Betty and her team are trained in hospitality business designs where the goal is to create the “look and feel” desired by the hotels with cost effective, easy to maintain materials and furnishings. Betty understands the importance of budgetary demands, cost control, critical delivery schedules and on-going maintenance requirements. With over 11 years of experience in the industry, she will work quickly and efficiently to stay within the hotel’s budget and meet the deadlines. With a background in Call Centers and corporate marketing companies, Chantelle started off in the Operations department and progressed rapidly through the Sales and Marketing Industry, where she specialized in Training, Recruiting and Customer Account Management. Chantelle has been involved with a variety of different products, ranging from finance, marketing, hotel development, telecommunications, holiday packages, IT products, door to door marketing, and corporate business development. Mahesh is the Director of Finance and Humanitarian Projects for Diplomatic Group and Gillier Humanity and has over 18 years experience as a Financial Planner. He works with our compliance officer and team on due diligence and then presents it to the corporate board for approval to move the transaction to the platform.

Chris has over 25 years of experience in the global commercial real estate industry and is mandate for an Ambassador to the United Nations. Dr. Mark L. A native of Vienna, Austria, Ingrid spent 7 years in the tourism / hospitality industry at a hotel in Vienna in different capacities. RONY HERSHENZON – Director of Operations (Tel Aviv, Israel)
Rony is the founder and owner of RH-Global Realty & Investments, located in Tel Aviv, Israel, and also a partner of Arc-Hotel Consulting Network, located in Italy. He is a professional real estate broker, with experience of over 30 years in the real estate field. Rony’s last position was General Manager / CEO of Tefahot Properties & Investment Ltd, which is a subsidiary of the largest mortgage bank in Israel, and the fourth largest banking group in the country, which included branches in Europe, USA and South America.
